Playing with river Ganga


She was 7 years old. Her parents took her on a trip to Rishikesh. She felt “wow’ seeing the beautiful place. The hill had rocks and the view was wonderful. There were little patches of grass in different shades of green. She was excited being in that place.

 

River Ganga was flowing, she put her legs in the river and felt the chillness of water. She enjoyed the feel. She splashed the water with her legs strongly. Just then a cold gentle breeze began to blow in the air and her hair moved sideways. It felt nice. 

  

She wanted to visit this place again.

Kudugu, Pudugu and Sara

Curtesy: Pratham books Kudugu and Pudugu are the twin clouds that come to play with Sara at her paati’s house. Come inside, these stormy rains are not good for health, shouted paati at Sara. Oh, why are you going away? Asked Kudugu. My paati will allow me to play only if you pour a much gentler rainfall. You know I can’t play with you in Ved Vihar. If stormy rains continue then I can’t even play with you in paati’s house. Please don’t be so strong Kudugu and Pudugu. Ok, said Pudugu. Curtesy: CBT books Sara went back to play again in the rain.
